Ferdinand
and Renate Thoma-Bechtold have been responsible for the management
of the holiday resort «Auerhahn» since 1993. Both of them
have completed a comprehensive formal training and have many years of
experience in both the gastronomy and hotel industries.
Ferdinand
Thoma has had different positions in numerous international hotels
including the Grand Hotel Belvedere (Davos), Kulmhotel (St. Moritz),
Palace Hotel (Lucerne), Carlton Hotel (St. Moritz), Holiday Inn
(Zurich Airport) and Castello del Sole (Ascona).
Renate
Thoma-Bechtold started her professional career in the Hotelfachschule
(professional school for hotel industry) in Lausanne. Later, she
worked as a banquet manager and executive secretary in the Mövenpick
Hotel (Zurich Airport). For eleven years she was co-manager of the
restaurant «Rheinischer Hof» in Waldshut with her
husband.
In order to meet the necessary quality assurance
standards, Ferdinand and Renate Thoma have both earned qualification
as wellness trainers at the Wellness Institute in Frankfurt.
